If your class uses assignment links between Brightspace/D2L and zyBooks, first navigate toBrightspace/D2L.
Go to where your assignments and course materials are located. Brightspace allows instructors to customize folders, so instructions vary on finding the assignment link.
Clicking an assignment will take you to the first section in the assignment. (Note that if you have not subscribed to the zyBook yet, you will be taken to the Subscribe page rather than the assignment).
Once you have clicked the link to the assignment, that assignment is now activated and you can work through the activities.
Please note that for each assignment in zyBooks, you must click on each corresponding assignment link in Brightspace so we know where to send your scores.
Every time you earn a new point in an activated assignment, your score will be sent directly to the grade book, until the due date has passed.
Note that if you complete an assignment before activating it, your score will be automatically sent upon activation.
If for any reason your score does not get automatically sent, you can also manually submit your points in the Assignments tab by clicking the blue "Submit to desire2learn" button. The most common cause of this would be if your instructor chose to give you an extension for the assignment and you completed the assignment between the original due date and the new due date.
