What is my class section?
We allow instructors to split their zyBook into groups of students, which we call class sections. Dividing a class into these class sections can make it easier for instructors to provide grades. If your instructor is using sections, you will be asked to select your class section when you subscribe.
How do I find my class section?
Your instructor can let you know what class section you belong to. If you are unsure, you should consult your course syllabus or ask your instructor.
Can I subscribe if I don’t know my class section?
Yes, if you do not know your class section, you are still able to subscribe. You will need to select one of the sections, but you can always update your class section at any time during the term. Make sure you do correct your class section quickly, though. Your instructor might not be able to view your grades if you are in the incorrect section.
How can I change my class section?
Start by going to the "My subscription" tab on the zyBook Homepage. Use the drop-down to select the new section.
