Accessing the zyBook and assignments
To access zyBooks from Canvas, start by entering the Canvas course.
Next, find a zyBooks assignment link on either "Assignments" or "Modules".
If zyBooks does not open within Canvas, Click on "Load [assignment name] in new window" to open the zyBook.
The first time as assignment link is clicked, students may be navigated to the susbcribe page if the zyBook where they can begin the subscription process.
Otherwise, students who are already subscribed will be taken to the first assigned section of the assignment.
Auto-submitting scores
Students can start working on the assignment right away. Anytime they earn a new point, that point will automatically be sent to Canvas, updating the student's score in the Canvas grade book.
Students have unlimited attempts on any participation and challenge activities.
Students can pause an assignment and any time and come back to work on the assignment at any time up until the assignments due date.
Students still have access to the assignments after the due date, but any work completed after the due date does not count towards the assignment and is not sent to Canvas.
Manually sending scores
If for any reason your score does not get automatically sent, you can also submit your points in the Assignments tab.
From the assignments tab, select the assignment that needs to be submitted.
Then click "Submit to canvas".
