zyBooks is committed to actively reducing student cheating. We have an internal team that looks up zyBook lab problem solutions on popular websites such as Chegg, CourseHero, Github, StackOverflow, and YouTube, and regularly submits takedown requests for copyright violations per the DMCA. Posting the lab problem itself is typically what is presented as the copyright violation.
By reducing solutions on the web, we hope to reduce the temptation for students to cheat, and improve their overall learning experience.
We invite instructors to take the same approach for their custom-authored labs.
Instructors who custom-author labs own the copyright and have the authority to request takedowns.
Links to takedown request forms for several popular websites appear below. .
Also, if you find solutions to labs authors by zyBooks, we invite you to notify support@zybooks.com so our team can submit takedown requests.
