Manual grading
Two new test types are added to the zyLabs editing experience on the ‘Manual test bench’ card. Both test types allow you to specify a point value and short description of the test. Test names are not editable.
Manual grade test - This is an additive test type. If you’ve set 50 points worth of automated tests and add a manual grade test worth 10 points, students will only be able to achieve 50 of 60 points before you add a manual grade of 0 - 10 points.
Manual deduction test - This test type may only subtract points. If you’ve set 50 points worth of automated tests and manual deduction of maximum -10 points, students may achieve 50 points on the automated tests and you may choose to remove up to 10 points when reviewing their submission.
When reviewing student submissions, add scores and comments for the manual test types you’ve created.
Students can see scores and comments in the zyLab along with results from automated tests and also in their dashboard on the ‘My activity’ tab.
