Overview
Each term that you adopt a zyBook for your class, we will create a unique zyBook for you with a unique zyBook code.
Depending on whether or not you are using single sign-on, students will require different instructions.
If you are not using single sign-on:
Provide your students the unique zyBook code.
Students should then go to zyBooks.com and click "Create account". This will redirect them to our zyBooks app where they can create an account.
Once they have created an account, they will immediately be prompted to enter the zyBook code you provided.
From there, students will be directed to the subscribe page where they can enter their credit card or pre-purchased access key.
If you are using single sign-on:
Students should go directly to the LMS and click on a link to zyBooks.
The LMS will send us each student's name and email address, which we will use to create an account for that student.
Students should not create their own account by going to zybooks.com. This scenario can result in a student having multiple accounts and lead to complications that cause student frustration.
After the student clicks the link in the LMS and we create their account, we will direct them to the zyBook they need. Students in this situation will not need to know their zyBook code as they will be taken directly to the zyBook.
From there, students will be directed to the subscribe page where they can enter their credit card or pre-purchased access key.
Providing instructions to students
You can find subscription instructions to copy-paste for your students on the Welcome tab.
Be sure to select the appropriate option using the radio buttons before copying the instructions to your clipboard.
